Rappelons que Guillaume a créé la société G2One avec Graeme Rocher et Alex Tkachman il y a à peine plus d’un an. [...]

We had a big picture of this specification: where does it came, history, governance, early adopters, future adoptions and expectations (french readers can consult this post). The OSGi platform is a native competitor to JavaEE. Although, if you are not a middleware [...]

Spring provides useful types for creating lists of values. However, it is not as good for merging lists. Here is an option. A list usually looks like this in a Spring configuration file:
<bean id="aList" class="org.springframework.beans.factory.config.ListFactoryBean">
<property name="sourceList">
<list>
<value>a list element</value>
<value>another list element</value>
</list>
</property>
</bean>
Or, if you are the fun-loving type, you can write this as follows:
<util:list id="someList">
<value>a list element</value>
<value>another [...]

Googling for ways to integrate GWT with Spring, I didn’t find any simple solution.
Here is what I need :

GWT RPC services should be Spring beans.
They should be POJOs NOT extending RemoteServiceServlet.
Mapping between Servlet paths and beans should be straightforward.

Here is what I came up with :

It’s a very simple Servlet that receives every RPC request.
